"Am I asking too much?" asks front woman Paige Renée Berry as Half Dream comes roaring out the gate in this powerful anthem. "Too Much" teases the next release from the Austin, TX indie rock band, Half Dream, and signals a departure both sonically and energetically. Exploring what it means to exist as a woman in a world of excess while simultaneously being asked to remain small, Berry quite literally screams into the void with declarations like "I won't make the choice to choose you or lose my voice." While staying true to the lyricism and musical talent on display in their debut EP Monster of Needing, this track shatters any notion of decorum found in their freshman release. We can be sure that if Half Dream entered the scene as formidable, this next chapter will find them unstoppable.
